Warranty Coverage
Vak Pak warrants its parts to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment.
If a covered part proves to be defective within this period, we will, at our option, repair or replace the item.
Customer Responsibility
- The purchaser is responsible for all labor and shipping costs associated with the replacement or repair.
- This warranty does not apply to any part that has been subject to: ○ Negligence or misuse
- Improper installation or maintenance
- Misapplication or alteration
- Environmental or chemical damage (including caustic chemical fumes stored in or near equipment)
Important: Chemicals should never be stored inside a Vak Pak system. Fumes may cause damage and void the warranty.
Third-Party Equipment and Accessories
Parts or accessories not manufactured by Vak Pak, Inc. are covered only by the original manufacturer’s warranty. Vak Pak will act as an agent on your behalf to help obtain warranty coverage, but we do not warranty third-party products directly.
Requesting Warranty Service
- Warranty claims must be made by contacting Vak Pak as soon as a defect is discovered.
- We will respond and take corrective action as promptly as reasonably possible.
- Claims submitted more than 30 days after the warranty period ends will not be accepted.
Limitations and Legal Rights
This warranty is the exclusive remedy for defective products. Vak Pak, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental, consequential, or contingent damages.
This warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties. Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the same duration as the express warranty above.
Note: Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, or the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations may not apply to you.
International Shipments
Parts shipped outside the continental United States are not covered under this warranty.
